Origin Story
Mr. Basha Bekele
Mr. Basha Bekele owns and operates his 6-hectare farm in the Bombe district of Sidama. Bomba has some of the highest altitudes in in Sidama, and most of the COE winners come from a 50-kilometer wide area here. Producers in this area are extremely experienced and maintain some of the best-practice coffee farming in Ethiopia, on a small-scale. Farmers like Basha are consistently producing some of the best coffees in Ethiopia, year after year.
