Join us for the next Latte Art Throwdown on April 25th.
A lot has happened since our last Latte Art Throwdown at Millers All Day. We’ve welcomed a few new wholesale partners to the Springbok family, we’re working on some exciting new educational offerings, and we’re gearing up for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Guatemala for the Producer/Roaster Forum (more on all of that to come!).
Although we’ve been busy, we love any opportunity to bring the coffee community together…which is why it’s officially time for our next Latte Art Throwdown!
We hope you can join us on Thursday, April 25th at Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer located at 4 Vanderhorst Street in downtown Charleston.
The barista competition kicks off at 7:00pm, but feel free to get there early. Pub Fare will be set up in the courtyard from 5:00pm – 8:00pm serving up delicious burgers – the perfect accompaniment to your cold craft beer.
Along with our team here at Springbok, local community sponsors Sightsee Shop and Talk Coffee to Me have generously contributed towards our prize money. The first place winner will go home with $200 and our second place winner will receive $100.
There is a $10 cash buy-in to compete and all proceeds will go towards the Sightsee Shop Kickstarter campaign to help one of our new coffee retailers open their space.
Our last Throwdown had participants from Beaufort, SC, Charlotte, NC, and all around the Lowcountry. It’s always exciting to see coffee lovers and industry professionals connecting during these events; we hope to continue creating a welcoming space that fosters community and collaboration across the region. If you haven’t been to a Latte Art Throwdown yet (or if it’s been a while), we encourage you to join us this month. The more the merrier!
